We finally made it to the shores of fake lake
Totally surrounded by half-mowed mountains but as far as traps go this is great
Happily caught and cooked in a pot cause by the water we’re super cooled
But the mountains know, if the dam were to blow we’d all feel fooled
Every tragedy’s double, all work turns to rubble, and we end up paper thin
When they invented this mirage, they invented sabotage, there’s no life like on the margin
O - Are you in with the devine, are you that far out on the line?
We need at least that big a sign
But things just don’t work out so nice look around
Can you be sure who you’re servin now?
Some desire misplaced, this could take you down, this could take you out
If you can’t see another way
To burn like you want to, and as you should, what a burden - not to waste
You gotta let go to feel the flow, i don’t know but i’d rather be a liquid than a paste
O - Are you in with the devine, are you that far out on the line?
We need at least that big a sign
But things just don’t work out so nice look around
Can you be sure who you’re servin now?
Why don’t you just confess, you’re gettin pretty jealous of the unapologetic
Girls and guys, just livin their lives, not really thinkin twice, but what you keep forgettin
Is that from the outside, you’re so much more alike than not, that’s right
And I know it’s upsetting
Well have you thought this through at all, will you take that culvert crawl,
with the knife stashed in your teeth?
How can it be that’s the only way, for you to forge somethin like a belief?
O - Are you in with the devine, are you that far out on the line?
We need at least that big a sign
But things just don’t work out so nice look around
Can you be sure who you’re servin now?
